Ceremony

You can have a choice of two beautiful locations to get married in Minstrel Court. There is a Pavilion overlooking the lake. A beamed Orangery with a view of Wimpole Meadows creates another beautiful space to get married anytime of year.

Both Pavilions are glassed in and fully heated. So you and your guests are sheltered from the elements. 

Lake Pavilion

The Lake Pavilion is the perfect venue for couples to take romantic and graceful photos of their wedding day. Your guests can sit on the lantern-lit fairytale pavilion while watching you cross the Chinese bridge through the glass walls. Up to 140 guests can be seated here for the ceremony undercover.

The Orangery

Alternatively, if you’ve always dreamt of a magnificent bridal entrance in an elegant aisle or reading your vows in front of an intimate gathering of your beloved ones, the Orangery is the place for you.

This beautiful space is perfect for your winter ceremony, with a stunning stained-glass ceiling and views of the Wimpole Meadow. The Chapel holds up to 140 guests and can be accessed by fully sheltered walkways that lead from the Tudor Barn and Marquee.

Reception

Minstrel Court offers three gorgeous settings for your reception. You can have your ceremony in the Tudor Barn, Marquee, or the Starlit Hall with a modern Bar.

Tudor Barn

The Tudor Barn was built around 1810 and is listed as grade II. It provides an enchanting and authentic setting for your reception. The rustic elegance of the barn adds to its charm.

With high ceilings, rich wooden beams, white walls, stained glass windows, and metal chandeliers, this space makes a stunning place to hold any part of your big day. This is a customisable space that helps make Minstrel Court a very flexible outdoor wedding venue in Cambridgeshire.

The Tudor Barn, with dimmable lighting and fairy lights on the beams creates a romantic atmosphere for your wedding feast. This multipurpose (nearly 120 square metres) room is large enough for a band and disco, as well as a full-size photo booth. Additionally, there are four cozy cabins—The Lily Pad, The Maple, The Reed, and The Willow Cottage—available for guests before and after the wedding.

Soon, Minstrel court will introduce The Stables, the studio flats perfect for relaxing, and The Chalets, ten charming wooden cabins nestled in the forest.
