Tudor Barn
Our listed Tudor Barn, built around 1810, boasting tall stained-glass windows and majestic beamed 28-feet ceiling is a stunning space to serve your wedding feast. Leading off the Bar and complete with a Gallery with a total floor space of 168 square metres (21m x 8m), the Tudor Barn can hold from 40 up to 150 in comfort.
Tudor Barn also makes for an excellent space for photoshoots. You and your photography team will enjoy photo shooting in a secluded location free from noise and distractions. You can capture stunning photos in a spacious, rustic room with incredible natural-looking light all day and night. In addition, access to the Gallery allows your photographers to take unique overhead shots!
You can use the Tudor Barn for dining and then move to other spaces in Minstrel Court, such as the Bar, the Starlit Hall, and Terrace and Gardens for the evening. This means we don’t need to send your guests outside to rearrange the room for the evening party, making your day as smooth as can be!
You can use this space’s fully dimmable lights to create any mood and make your decoration even more luminous with the fairy lights on the beams and walls. There is also a radio mic for speeches and connectivity for background music to create a more dreamy atmosphere. The room is insulated and can be heated to ensure that the whole space remains warm and cosy at any time of year.
The Barn has wheelchair accessibility from the Bar, facilitating effortless use for elderly and disabled guests.
